Dear friend, I have been informed that the silver bowl and its copy are ready and that they will ask the Foreign Office to send them to the Embassy British in Paris. You will therefore receive, within some time from now, a telephone call at the Louvre so that someone comes to collect the precious parcel, faubg. St Honoré. Please let me know so that I may collect it. I wish to study the piece and inventory it in the register of the mission before entrusting it to you for exhibition. I hope that the flu spares you, as well as your family. Here there is only one victim, my daughter, but she is getting better. Cordially

CFASchaeffer.
