Dear Professor Ashmole, Thank you for your letter of June 7th. and of your generous decision not to make any charge for the work of the reproduction. As soon as I get Dr Plenderleith's comment, I shall thank him too. I am quite satisfait that the bowl remains in the B M until end of November, if Megaw is given his consent, we can easily arrange exhibition in December & January next. I can manage to send your Enkomi-Alasia over by post & have asked the editor to do it next week when I can see him about the distribution. I have not yet seen the note in the Times but look forward to receive a copy. With very best wishes & kind regards

Yours sincerely C. F. A. Schaeffer.
