Sir,
I understand that you know about a bronze bowl, with inlaid gold ornamentation, which is destined for Dr. Plenderleith of the British Museum, at the request of the Colonial Secretariat Nicosia.
2. In view of its fragile condition and intrinsic value, His Majesty's Government is prepared to transmit the bowl to London by Diplomatic bag.
3. I should be most grateful if you could manage to call on me, at your convenience, and discuss the best method whereby the bowl can be despatched.
I am, Sir,
Your obedient Servant.
