Dear Director Megaw,

I hope you got my letter of March 12th. The 11 cases have now been unpacked. There is very few new breakage, except among the very much repaired vases, which in spite of all care fell into the old fragments. They can be repaired. Among them is the broken of tomb 7 (temporary exp) for which I am drawing. I shall have restored if a hope to have it ready for the return in autumn.

May I ask you to have the enclosed bill paged from the balance of my deposit. Thank you in advance. Please attach the bill to the papers for next statement.

Yours sincerely,
