Enkomi-Alasia Expedition, Friday, 15 Nov. 1957. Dear Mr. Megaw, Looking through the list of 19 selected objects which you handed me here to-day, I feel it difficult to discuss with you a division of finds, a good deal of which I have never seen. As only the tomb material has been displayed in the Museum, in view of the division, it is indispensable that, to begin with, a copy of the complete inventories of the Department's finds at Enkomi to be divided is given me. You have already the originals of my inventories of the French finds to be divided. With the help of the inventories of the Department finds, I shall then draw up a list of the objects I should see before the division can be discussed. I would therefore be grateful if you could have prepared these inventories for my arrival on Monday. Yours sincerely C.F.A.Schaeffer.
