In respect to the dieu on ingot and the Salamis bronze head in Mainz, I was glad to bring them over there with your approval, but I cannot return there to hand them over to your Embassy either in Bonn or Paris. Please request them to send one of their secretaries over to fetch them at the Mainz ve laboratory. and send them to Athens. — I have got from Dr. Ankner who directs now the labor. (Dr. Hundt is now retired), a colourphoto of the head and have send it to Mr. Karageorghis. I hope he has shown it to you. – The ingot god, according to Dr Ankner has not yet been treated as Mainz is overworked, so if possible keep the statue there until automn, according to Ankner they could treat it then.
