ENK. 61 surface of the rock served as solid substrate to the lower white floor, of the Late Bronze, itself covered by a thin stratum of grey ashes, on which rests the second thick white floor, burnt at the time of the Close Style (end of Late Cypriot III).
vertical red line spanning this paragraphAround this area, where the oldest floors do not go back beyond the Mycenaean period, remains of the beginning of the Bronze Late Bronze and end of the Middle Bronze were discovered (zone 103/104, particularly well stratified, from the Br. Middle on the rock up to the most recent floor, of an advanced phase of Iron I).
vertical red line spanning 3 linesIn zone 100, the two Iron I floors (wavy lines) were at – 0 m 80 and – 1 m 25 on average; several interesting vessels were found almost intact; let us cite the vase with three handles and small knob on the ovoid body, on a high hollow foot in t. c. grey ochre (amphora no. 10 INV, pt. 578), and especially the jug with spout-lip fitted with a strainer or colander, with matt painted decoration of a scene with two fish face to face (inv no. 9, pt. 598) in front of what appears to be a fish-hook; the style and the relatively poor quality of the pottery , as well as the stratigraphic position attribute this jug to the period of the Sea Peoples or Iron I, an attribution supported by the nearby find of a limestone dish incised on the four sides with characteristic drawings - graffiti, where the one can recognise at least one scene of navigation with a boat, and a scene with chariot (Inv. no. 69, pt. 599).
