Dear Sir,

I would be grateful to be authorized to export temporarily for study the following items of our finds described in the inventory book which I enclose : Nos 52, 118, 119, 120, 121, 124, 125, 126, 127, 128, 129, 131.

I would also be glad to take with me 4 boxes (cardboard) containing sherds and fragments of terracotta idols. Moreover, I would export 8 boxes of charcoal and shells, and mineral colours for chemical and C 14 analysis, in specialised laboratories. I shall return the registered finds as well as the sherds for my next season of excavations in Cyprus in 1962. Yours sincerely, C.F.A. Schaeffer.
