- Recruitment of new collaborators for the archaeological expeditions, and as monitor-instructor of the newly engaged trainee assistant, in France, but especially in Syria and Cyprus, on the excavations; presentation of the various varieties of pottery, at the Expedition camp and at the Damascus Museum; indications on excavation methods and archaeological observations; locating of floors, etc.
- Final preparation of the volume Ugaritica IV, coming from the presses of the Imprimerie Nationale.
