Dear Director,
I have received your reminder dated July 15th for the text of my envisaged contribution to the Acts of the Mycenaean Symposium of last March/April. At the same time I got from an "organizing committee" in Gothenburg signed by Ellen Herscher the tape recordings concerning my remarks following the discussions of the contributions by other participants. It strikes me now also more how singular the fact was that my contribution at the end of the meeting of the Symposium was not given the privilege of a discussion as all the other contributions during the meetings. I noticed that it was yourself who gave the President of that final meeting an advice following which he announced that there will be no need of a discussion of my paper. Why this ostracisme ? There was therefor totale silence after the delivery of the remarks by the discoverer of the main mycenaean site in the Island (Enk.-Al.) and the main mycenaean site in the Eastern Mediterranean : Ras Shamra - Ugarit.
