Dear Mr Lapierre, I found Mrs Schaeffer here recovered, but still a little weak. We are leaving Monday 23 by plane to shorten the journey. - Mr Kuss being prevented from passing through Cyprus, he will make a plan with the corrections requested by me after my inspection at Enkomi. He has asked his friend Mr J. Philipou, an experienced architect in Nicosia to supervise the execution and subsequentto receive the constructions, which will save us [written sideways: ly] the expense of a return trip in January. I will send you a copy of the plan so that you can on your side follow the end of the works. - I asked Mr Karageorghis to have the Landrover left at the Museum at our departure brought back by the representative in Nicosia to Enkomi, put on blocks, remove the battery and bring it back with the papers and keys, the latter to be handed to Mr Karageorghis you if you would kindly keep them until our return in 1965. Please settle the small bill from the garage. Thank you. And again my apologies for having left in haste for the aerodrome without seeing you again. Compliments to Mrs Lapierre and my friendships for you C F A Schaeffer.
