Dear Professor Schaeffer,

Thank you very much for your letter of 25th August. I am glad you find the arrangements for the construction of the house acceptable. Needless to say that in everything I did I had the Expedition's interests at heart.

The contractor contacts directly M.Lapierre, who will report to you on financial and all other matters concerning the progress of the construction. If the services of my foreman are needed, I shall be glad to lend him.

The shelter can be transformed according to your wishes. M.Lapierre will arrange the details + financial aspect of this when you write to him.

The keys will be handed over to Johnston when he calls here to collect the landrover.

With all good wishes,

Yours very sincerely,

V.Karageorghis

V.Karageorghis.
