French Mission the service of Michael Vaios, now guardian at Salamis and also of Georgios or another of the trained foremen of your Department. Forrer & Kuss bring over our jeep & all assistance you can lend them in connection with their work at Enkomi would be greatly appreciated. My wife & son Jean Claude, who embarks in Architectural studies, will join us beginning of October. – I have not yet received your advice about the cleaning of the 2 ingots & the tablets from Enkomi 1953, which Plenderleith could undertake. – I offer to bring them over to London myself, when I fly over from Zurich directly after a short vacation in Vitznau (Hotel Vitznaŭerhof), Canton of Lucern (Aŭg. 2nd–20th). M. Masson will come over to Nic. & Enk. to study the cypro-minoan script. Time of his arrival will be given you later. I hope you will be good enough to facilitate his mission. With kind regards.

Yours sincerely C. F A Schaeffer.
