Dear Mr. Megaw, If there will be no information available about the Temple area before you go into composition of your final volume of the whole work of the Department, there is no point in my pressing you to finish first the supplementary work in the central area. I shall only be obliged to change my own plans and to put up with the situation. As you do not feel strongly about the alteration of the date of termination of the Combined Expedition, I suggest to leave it as it is. As soon as my funds have reached my bank account at Barclay's, I shall send you the check for the purchase of plots 197 + 262. I wish you good results in your this year's work and remain, With kind regards Yours sincerely

C. F. A. Schaeffer.

Mr. A. H. S. Megaw Director of Antiquities Nicosia
