Dear Mr. Megaw,

I return herewith the Inventory of our belongings left in the Enkomi Expedition house you so kindly sent me together with two completed copies containing furniture and various objects bought last year.

I can now inform you that the funds for this years excavations have been approved. The town plan as it resulted from the last years investigations has become exceedingly interesting. But there are a number of problems to be settled. And I think, I shall have to spend another season: tracing the town wall, looking for the gates and more streets inside the city, before we can go back to work on the buildings.

I am nearly determined to begin this year at Enkomi in September, leaving R.S. for the second part of my research this autumn.

I very much hope you enjoy better weather than we here, with snow and -15° C. - I have congratulated your curator for to the second edition of the useful Guide to the Museum. - Please give my kind regards to Mrs. Megaw. Yours sincerely C F A Schaeffer.
