Dear Mr. Megaw,

Thank you for your letter of Jany. 14th and the cutout from Ill. L.N.

I am glad that the Custodian at Salamis has been authorised by you to mend the Enkomi pottery.

As regards the salary paid to Mr. George Anastasiou, I think it would be hard to ask him to return part of it and, if you agree, I would propose to leave the matter as it is. I shall arrange next season, which I hope will be in September, to adjust his salary according to his emoluments from his authorities.

With my best wishes

Yours sincerely,

Handwritten: C. F.-A. Schaeffer
