Dear Prof. Schaeffer,
Many thanks for your letter of 30th May and of your earlier one dated 24th April, 1969.
I am sorry for the delay in sending you new photographs of Reshef-Nergal with the details you wish to have, because our photographer is away on sick-leave. As soon as he is back-mid-June I hope - I shall deal with the above matter, although I shall be away to Paphos myself for my summer season of excavations.
You may remain assured that the Enkomi Cult Chariot will not be drawn or photographed without your permission .
