Sir Dr. V. KARAGEORGHIS Director of Antiquities Cyprus Museum N I C O S I A Cyprus
Dear Dr. Karageorghis,
I have received from Nicosia, but without indication from whom, two issues of Stasinos (A, 1963 ; B, 1964-65) which contain articles by you (a nice essay on Gjerstad) and by Mrs. Jacqueline ( on Chypre dans la littérature française), both I have read with pleasure, as well as several stu studies by Mr. Nicolaou. So, in any case, I thank you. Happily there are these articles in English and French, so I can read them. Perhaps you could suggest that a short summary in any of the three major european languages is added in the future issue of Stasinos to the Greek articles, for they would be useful to readers unfamiliar to modern Greek.
If the issues have been sent me neither from you nor Mr Nicolaou, could you guess to whom I have to thank ?
With kind regards to Mrs. Karageorghis from us both.
Yours very sincerely,
C.F.A. SCHAEFFER
