Mudd of the Cyprus Mines Corporation had paid the price for the two and presented one to our Museum. We had allowed him to export the second. The other three photographs show objects from Enkomi found in 1927+ and bought but coming from Enkomi. The two ingots are also from Enkomi.
We had put wax on the statue but afterwards it had to be treated by other methods: it is in good condition now. As soon as it was exposed to the air the disease had declared itself: now it is arrested.
The weather is quite fine although we are troubled by rather cold winds. But everything is green and in flower. The uncultivated fields of the site are covered with flowers of every colour. It is a pleasure.
