The systematic exploration of this important site has now been selected as a major objectif of Cypriote Archaeology. On the suggestion invitation of Dr. Schaeffer, the Cypr. Ant. Dep. has decided to join forthwith the French Expedition for that purpose, and to They. The Department of Antiq. has nominated Mr. P. Dikaios, Curator of the Cyprus Museum to take charge of its archaeological participation in the joint expedition.
