I hasten to inform you that I have just received from the Consul of France in Malta the sum of £ 1000 (less bank commissions, i.e. £ 994.11.6) which he has instructed me to hand over to you.
Mr Armand adds, to ask you for the usual receipt in triplicate which he must submit with his accounting documents, and I would be very grateful if you would kindly send it to me.
Upon receipt of your reply, I will transfer this sum to your account with the Barclays Bank in Famagusta.
