to consider a further two years extension and to inform the French Mission of its grant as soon as the moment has come. I would like to add, that instead of M. Pironin fallen ill during my last R. S. campagne, I shall bring with me in addition to Mr. Forrer two new architects of the Ecole des Bx Arts, in Paris, M. Sarrade-Loucheur & Mr. R. Kuss who will, of course, first be trained at R. S. M. Courtois my archaeological-assistant & I am glad to say also Mrs Schaeffer will also come over with me. I hope no family obligations will this time deprive me of my wife's help.
