The funds having been made available and also the budget of 1953 approuved, it will be possible to do then next year a more important dig to compensate for the loss this year. I have informed by air letter also Prof. Hjortsjö who wishes to come to Cyprus with two other anthropologists to study our Enkomi materiel (squeletons + crania) and all the Cyprus anthrop. material which you could make available to them. I don't think however it will affect their plans, for they are interested in the material found during the earlier excavations and I told them that it is uncertain if I find new squeletons this year. As soon as I can, I I shall inform you of the date of my arrival.
