DEPARTMENT OF ANTIQUITIES.
No.36/36/3. Nicosia, 4th August,1952.
Dear Dr. Schaeffer,
The Government's Public Information Officer has asked if he could have one or two photographs of the silver bowl for reproduction in the Greek and English editions of the monthly CYPRUS REVIEW. If you see no objection, would you please send me a couple of glossy prints.
Since I wrote my letter of 30th July, I have again visited Dikaios at Enkomi. Digging in the deeper levels adjoining the north wall has revealed a complex picture many details of which remain obscure, but it now seems the wall is not all of one period. There are earlier remains in the area going back to LCI.
Yours sincerely,
