Dear Megaw,
In my last letter I forgot to ask you news about the bronze bowl of my tomb 11 now in the British Museum for repair. You liked to see the bowl when in London. My hope to get there and to Oxford on the Founders day of my College (St.Johns) is unfortunately vanishing.
Other question. In the preface of Enkomi-Alasia I, now in press, I int ended to give a history of the foundation of the Combined Expedition. But the idea comes to me that you would prefer this is given in the second volume (that of Enkomi) in order that you could give an account from your side. Tell me [handwritten: also] what you would prefer and ask also Dikaios, I can easily say that this news is given in the second volume with the first contribution of the Cyprus branch of the expedition. An early answer would be appreciated.
Best wishes. Yours sincerely
