If by any chance someone of your service goes to Beyrouth he could of course bring the few 1950 vases of over to Forrer who would than do the photographs and drawings himself. This if you think it would simplify the operation. The finds could stay on at the Institute until an occasion occurs to bring them back.
I have now found proof at Ras Shamra that the discharged hittite king Urhi- Teshoup (XIIIe s.) did not retire to Cyprus as formerly supposed and that the island was than and probably never a under dep hittite rule. The lack of archaeological evidence supports this view.
