13th February 1950

Dear Megaw,

I hope you have received my letter of February 7th including a note for Dikaios, and the one of January 23rd in which I agree to retain the services of Michael to finish the mending of the pottery with Georgios. A word from Forrer tells me how kindly you and Dikaios help him to accelerate his work during his stay in Nicosia. I am very grateful to you both. In addition to the funds for Forrer, I would like you to pay another 7 pounds to M. Petrakides of Larnaka next time he comes to the museum. According to his statement, I owe him this sum to settle the cylinder seals bought from him after returning the fake you have probably seen when Forrer brought it over.

Please remember me to Mrs. Megaw.

Yours sincerely,
