Dear Director, With reference to our previous correspondance, I have the honour to inform you, that owing to circumstances out beyond my control, I am obliged to postpone the beginning of the first campaign season of excavat at Enkomi to until march 1946. I then hope that the work of the expedition can be start without any change and with the same personnel as outlined in my letter of June 15th. I return the tw copy of the licence signed by me.
