Dear Sir,

I am writing this note to inform you that the work finished in good conditions before winter.

The lorry taking Georges to Nicosia will be loaded tomorrow morning and will leave immediately afterwards.

No sensational finds: by giving the trench of the North Areas a more regular pit, we found a 13th-12th c. tomb, it seems, with a well for water that it contained. The rampart trench has been more completely cleared; all the areas cleaned and put in order. I photographed what has been uncovered since our departure.

Peyrouin has finished his plan, I still have to send you our register as a souvenir.

Handwritten: Étienne Coche de la Ferté
