Enkomi expedition, Famagusta, 24 sept. 1946.

Dear Megaw,

I confirme my letter of Sept.22. I would very much like to pay you the promised visit at your St.Hilarion cloister on Sunday next if that day would suite you and Mrs Megaw. If so, this would be my programme: I would come to Nicosia for lunch time or a bit before to do some shopping. Would stay the night at the Acropolis where I would be obliged to you to reserve me a room with bath. Sunday morning I would move to your house and return in the afternoon to Famagusta. We could discuss the scheme mentioned in your letter and in my reply for a combined expedition at Enkomi.

If this Sunday would not suite you, we could arrange the meeting for [illegible] another day, but not on Sunday. For Sunday after/next I have to be in Beyrouth where I have been called by telegramme yesterday for a consultation on research.

Dikaios intends to come here this week. I am looking forward to see him. And I would be glad if he would invite on my behalf Dikaios to accompany him to show him round at the same occasion. I missed Dikaios when in Nicosia lately.

Handwritten: With my respectful regards to Mrs Megaw

Handwritten: Yours sincerely,
