Dear Schaeffer,
I enclose lists of the remaining illustrations for Megaws' contributions to Enkomi I, which are being despatched to-day under separate cover. Plates I - VII and Text figs 1 - 5. The appropriate reduction to fit the size of illustrations on the page is marked opposite each, as well as on the lists.
These and the other plates previously sent have been arranged on the assumption that they will appear together in serial order as in continuous blocks of plates to follow our two chapters. I hope that will be practicable.
We have drawn the plans on Plates I - IV with the north point at the top, although Dikaios feels the building is more easily understood if [illegible] looked at with the north at the bottom of the page. The former arrangement has been chosen to assist the reader to follow easily the layout of the building in relation to other parts of the site and to the town wall. But this presupposes that plans of all areas published will be reproduced with north at the top. I hope I am right in supposing that this convention will be adopted in the plans you will reproduce.
