Dear Mr. Megaw,

Thank you for your letter of febr. 7. with the ratification of our agreement dated 28 dec. and 4. Jan. , your letter of Jan. 5. The exhibition of the silver bowl should, as you know, coincide with my article in ILN, which cannot be published long before the book Enkomi - Alasia is out, as its copyright precautions are useless, according to repeated experience. I think that I could release the article in April or Mai at latest provided the ILN accepts my condition to insert the book references under the caption which is unusual.

The book having become fatter as expected (just as a result of the contribution of Plenderleith and another about the inscriptions on the clay balls), approx. 450 pages, I had to order more paper. So the printing is slightly delayed and the volume will not be ready, I believe, before May. But the printing is en route and there can be no further delay. As I have seen, the proofs without references to the illustrations, plans and sections (about 250)
