Fig. 1 b1965, Middle Bronze III structures were uncovered, of the Late Bronze II, Late Bronze III and final, beneath the witnesses corresponding to remnants of wall foundations in very crude rubble, dating to Late Cypriot Iron I, resting on the layers of fine grey ash containing fragments of bowls (bases and characteristic painted rims) of Mycenaean III C 1. Sherds of White-Slip II milk bowl, recovered in stratigraphic position at several distinct points of the research area each time allowed the chronological attribution of floors, strata, "pavings" and structures (squares E 4, N 2, O 3).
cf photos / 13x18At the foot and to the _W_est of the very fine high terrace wall built in Late Cypriot 2, used in Late Cypriot 3 then reutil- ized again|at the beginning of Late Cypriot Iron I, we were able to identify successively the corresponding floors and the architectural alterations, both in plan and in elevation; thus it was possible to clear on either side of an isolated median wall, N-S (= the one against which leaned the monolithic trough and one of the two terracotta bathtubs mentioned) two doors, that of the southwest 0,m 80 wide, that of the north-west, one metre wide. The first door was blocked by a low wall of mud brick (red and green alternating) built during a modification dating to the Late Cypriot Iron I. It was under the floor of the west hall that one uncovered a loose, intentional stone packing, intended for the drainage of the area: a sump dating to Late Cypriot 2, still recovered by a pentagonal slab. The stone packing is found again to the North, under the floor of the Late Bronze with a copper slag substratum recognized since the 1967 campaign.
cf. Ozalid bleu / de la coupeImmediately to the West, we also had the opportunity to uncover jour un autre et vaste puissard, cette fois recouvert de plusieurs dalles, longues respectivement de 0,80 m, 1,m 06 et 1,m 00 (deu North to South). This sump was (surely) built in Late Bronze 1 or at the beginning of Late Bronze 2, to judge from the series of floors encountered before reaching it. Emptied to 0,m 90 of depth, this sump yielded only green clay (konnos) sterile, under a thin layer of sand. The internal dimensions (at the level reached) are as follows: 1 m 75 long N-S for 1 m 25 wide E-W maximum. The plan shows an arrange-
