striking character.

The other remarkable objects collected this year in the area of Street no. 5 are a kind of mace or mallet in steatite, with a transverse collar bordered by a moulding decorated with a herringbone motif, found in a fairly late layer, no doubt of the end of the 12th c., a weight in haematite dont la en forme évoque celle d'une de mouse à peine ébauchée très bien modelé,, a steatite seal, of the "dome" type, engraved with a quadruped and a stylised branch, found in a layer of the 11th c. The small bronze tools, burins, chisels, needles with eyes, are relatively numerous. Finally a ball in baked earth, inscribed with seven Cypro-Minoan signs, was collected on the surface a little to the South of the area.

The cleaning and reassembly of the très<s>/ pottery très abondante from the campaigns of 1970 and 1971 is currently continuing.
