Material -

Layer 7: Sherds LB II-LB III first phase on the rock: Mycenaean sherds; fragments of "milk bowl"; stone pestle.

Layers 6 and 5: Sherds LB III second phase: bowl, white pottery, with flaring rim and double line painted in brown on the inside; cup with very elongated and narrow handle; sherd, point, with brown decoration of triangles, sawtooth and chevrons.

Layers 4 and 3: Fairly abundant pottery, LB III second phase: ladle (Pt 28) placed on the floor; kraters with brown decoration of spirals and horizontal parallel bands, "close style"; carinated cups with matt brown decoration in greenish fabric.

Layers 2 and 1: Abundant pottery, Iron I initial phase: jug with spout-strainer, side handle, red decoration of concentric semicircles, derived from the "close style"; at 80 cm depth, in the centre (Pt 26); jug with small cylindrical spout and dark brown vertical decoration, near the preceding one (pt 26); cup with ring foot, concentric red decoration on the inside and outside, also (pt 26); iron sickle and another iron tool, at 80 cm, to the north (pt 27); fragment of bronze arrow.

Conclusions -

On the rock, Mycenaean layer. Above, two floors of the end of the Late Bronze, with burial and architecture? finally, a floor with architecture of the beginning of the Iron Age I.

The transition from the Late Bronze to the Iron Age is therefore particularly well represented in this sounding, where few periods are attested.
