Conclusions - Above a Mycenaean layer, one meets a rich level of the beginning of the Iron Age, with to the N.E. a floor and a substantial wall, and to the S.W. a tomb. There are, no doubt, on the surface traces of the end of Iron I.
SOUNDING XI -
Stratigraphy - Layer 4: Pt 12: well dug in the northern part, beyond 85 cm. Elsewhere, at 85 cm, virgin clayey floor. Layer 3: 85-60 cm: ashes and charcoal. Layer 2: 60-30 cm: floor of small gravel. Layer 1: 30-0 cm: grey earth.
Material - Layer 4 (Pt 12): Sherds RB_II+RB_III_first phase: Mycenaean krater with fish-scale pattern; "milk bowl"; sherds painted with brown decoration; miniature jug with pointed base.
Layer 3: Pottery RB_III_second_phase: fine sherds with decoration of horizontal parallel lines in red or brown; carinated cups.
Layer 2: Pottery rare_Iron_I_initial_phase: fragment of "ladle"; painted yellowish sherd with red cross-hatched decoration.
Layer 1: Pottery Iron I initial phase: bowl with flaring rim and double line painted on the inside of the rim; late "bucchero"; bowl with convex rim; bowl with flattened rim with grooves on its outside.
Conclusions - A installation with well of the fine Mycenaean period is succeeded by a layer of the end of the Late Bronze, with traces of hearths or burning, then a floor and the corresponding use layer of the very beginning of the Iron Age; it therefore does not seem that there was any interruption in the occupation of this sector.
