grey, between 0,50 and 0,70m, in the North-West corner of the house/

In the second room, there was an inscribed clay ball, at 0.80 (Pt. 79). In this area, the stratigraphy was as follows: 1. Ashy earth. 0 to 0,70m 2. Floor I. 0,70m 3. Brown earth, with Pt. 79, and "bucchero" sherd of Iron I. 4. Floor II.

In the third room, which extends beyond the limits of the trench, there is a well, with a stone kerb.

5) The courtyard to the East of the public building. This space is bounded to the West by the back wall of the public building, to the South by the East-West street, to the East by a large wall abutting the wall of the preceding house and to the North by a very thick wall. It is probable that it is a dependency of the public building, onto which it currently opens through a gap in the West wall, without it being possible to affirm that this communication existed from the outset.

The stratigraphy of this courtyard is not very clear: 1. Surface layer. 0 to 0,70m. 2. Hard white floor (Floor I), with a pair of bronze tweezers (Pt. 61). 0.70m. 3. Layer of small round pebbles (Pt. 60), similar to that met in the courtyard of Pt. 4 and which even continues into the breach of the West wall. At this level, the eastern part of the courtyard is occupied by a series of casemates. 0,70 to 1,00m. 4. Bed of ash and pebbles. 5. Hard white floor (Floor II) corresponding to the floor of the building; on this floor, sherds of the beginning of Iron I, clay ball with 5 SIGNS (Pt. 70) and anepigraphic clay ball, fragment of stone ring. 1,10 m. 6. Layer of reddish clayey earth, containing sherds of Middle Bronze III under the foundations of the walls: rim of cup with open spout "red on red", bowl with horizontal handle. 1,20m. 7. Virgin soil, granular greyish clay. 1,30m.
