5/ Corridor to the West of the courtyard of pt. 24. This corridor, of the same orientation as the preceding ones, does not exceed 1 m. in width; it has a white floor and a paving at a depth of 1.25. The material above this floor is mixed: a burnished sherd with red convex profile is of Hellenistic appearance; the rest belongs to the beginning of the Iron Age: weight made of a pebble marked at the ends (pl. 7), tuyères, large bowl or crucible in greenish-white fabric, bowl with inturned rim and concentric circles red on the inside.
Below the floor and down to the virgin soil at 1.60, one meets with pottery of the beginning of the Late Bronze (II-I): bowls made by hand, very primitive "milk bowl", early "base ring", - but above all of the end of the Middle Bronze: "red on red", "red on black", decoration of wavy and straight lines in black or red on a light ground, juglet with narrow neck and one well-cleared handle, decorated with horizontal lines on the neck and handle, with crossed lines on the body, handles with rectangular profile, bowl with knob handle and "red on red" decoration, burnished red or buff sherd, base of pithos neck with relief band with incisions parallel.
6/ Room to the North-East of the public building. After an empty space to the West of this corridor, one sees towards the West a room whose North edge has disappeared and which measures 2.50 in width. In the South-East corner there is the coping of a well, beside which two bone styli were collected, one of which complete (pl. 6), on a floor at 0.80; this belongs to Iron I. Below this floor, one meets first a layer of the Final Bronze between 0.80 and 1.00, with "milk bowl", - then a layer of the Middle Bronze III between 1.00 and 1.50, level of the virgin soil.
7/ Courtyard to the North of the public building. The last section of this trench towards the West is cutby a courtyard; in the South-East corner of the room there is a sump or a sanitary installation.
