20.82(continued)smoothed, as well as the top, rim and shoulder, of the exterior, the base and the bottom. On the rest of the exterior, deep scraping traces with a knife or spatula, horizontal on the shoulder (giving vertical traces), oblique and horizontal on the rest of the bowl. These traces have the appearance of grooves parallel, with an asymmetric section, perpendicular to the direction of the scraping, short owing to the curvature of the wall. Rim obtained by a folding of the clay (towards the exterior ?). Very summary smoothing of the exterior of the bowl with a fibrous spatula (of wood ?) or a straw pad. Handle entirely hand-modelled, attached without perforation of the wall. Slip on exterior and interior. Thicker at the interior than at the exterior, and on the shoulder and the rim than lower down, on both faces. Applied in broad strokes, roughly horizontal, with a broad brush or a cloth pad or equivalent, starting from the base and finishing at the top (that of the top has run over that of the bottom, on both faces). Dark brown where it is thick, it takes on a more or less pinkish colour depending on its thickness, the colour of the earth showing through.
