Small holes in the surface, very nomerous on the black face, absent from the light face. A large blister in the lower part of the body. Hand-made, in four parts (base, body, neck, handle). Very slight depression inside the neck at the handle attachment. Neck scraped vertically. The whole vessel very well smoothed. Very thin slip carefully applied with a brush on the exterior of the vessel and the interior of the neck rim, vertically on the neck, horizontally elsewhere. Leather-like appearance, brown, finely burnished, on the left face of the vessel, colour brown-black to black on the other face (with where the burnish has disappeared over a large part of the body), brown-red inside the rim. Sjöqvist type 1a): base flaring, with profile in a regular curve, body piriform very squat, neck practically cylindrical, slightly flaring towards the moulded rim. Handle flat, broad, from the lower third of the upper neck to the bottom of the shoulder (broken). Axis of the vessel practically not inclined towards the back. Decoration same type as 20.33, but handle undecorated. Restored. Very incomplete.
