Enkomi - Alasia Expedition House, 29.11.1962

Dear Sir,

I would be grateful to be authorized to export temporarily for study the items boxed here and described in the inventory which is enclosed. — I would also be glad to take out some number of fragments of terra cotta idols to be restored and drawn, as well as some boxes of sherds for study. These finds are not included in the inventory.

I shall return them when I come back to Cyprus in 1963 for my next season of excavations, except for the sherds which might be needed until the final publication.

Yours sincerely C.F.A. Schaeffer.
