Mr. Vassos Karageorghis Curator, Cyprus Museum, NICOSIA, Cyprus.

Dear Colleague,

The work found here accumulated since my return and the beginning of the academic year have delayed my thanks and answer to your letter of december 20 th, 1962.

We hope next autumn to continue the excavations of this latest and so original occupation layer of Enkomi-Alasia.

Here is a résumé by Courtois, completed by me and with which I am in agreement, as well as an extract for the Press.

Please give our kindest regards to your wife and say my souvenirs to Mr. Dikaios if you should meet him in your vast museum !

Cordially yours .

Claude F.A. Schaeffer
