Among the finds made during the 1960 season of excavations at Enkomi - Alasia, the items listed on the attached page need study in France. I would be obliged to you to grant me a temporary export permit. I shall bring these objects back in 1961 on my return to the island for further excavations. Please find enclosed with this letter also the inventory of the small 1960 finds, pages 1-53 A small additional list will be handed over to you by my assistant M. Courtois on his arrival in Nicosia next week. May I add my thanks for the assistance given to the French Expedition by your Department during our this years work in the island and my best wishes to you and your staff
