Sir (Administrator), I have the honour to inform you that I am commissioned by the Com. of F. and M. A. of the D. G. of A. C. to conduct archaeological research in the island of Cyprus and in northern Syria, and must be absent from May for from August of the month of the month of August to the end of the year. I will take care to inform the Minister and obtain his agreement. Please accept, Sir (Administrator), the expression of my sincerely respectful and devoted sentiments.
Dear Sir (Administrator), I enclose herewith, with my apologies for the delay, my report on my teaching and my work during the year 1958/59. I fear If you judge that the two summaries of my courses are too long for the Annuaire, I I could for the last one, replace the one concerning my Wednesday course with a paper of 2 to 3 typed pages, given that the research presented could not be completed. And the exp could be postponed to the following Annuaire.
