Pt N 3 ETomb 1947

Margin right: 1,55

(skeleton 1946 at1,25)Skeleton lying on the floor under the Tomb of Pt 16 found in 1946. The upper tomb was simple, built of large rubble stones, a animal bone lay on the head of the dead person (cf. Journ. p 31). The lower tomb had only a surround at all, the skeleton lay on the floor (cf. Journ p 33) and belonged to a young child who had worn a necklace, of which the tiny whitish friable-paste beads were recovered, which had crumbled. The upper tomb was Sub-Mycenaean and contained a Phoenician gargoulette painted. The lower tomb is perhaps more ancient.
