21/X Squares 115 - 116 - 117 - 118.

Gradual surface cleaning from north to south, from 115 to 118 starting at 10 h. Grey-brownish earth particularly firm at the surface from 116 to 118. Relatively few interesting sherds so far. No beds yet apparent. At the end of the day, squares 117 and 118 are not yet entirely cleaned at the surface. The limit is of the trench east is also delimited, in anticipation of cleaning the berm east.

22/X 115 to 118. The excavation continues without major results in a homogeneous earth fairly firm. At 740, in the S.E. corner of 116, discovery of a small stone (5 × 5 cm c.) engraved with a cross and marked with small incised dots. Purpose of this object?
