After examination of the pottery (see J. Lagarce notebook), it seems that there is a discrepancy between the sector 8W 17 and the other sectors: there would be 1 additional floor more recent than elsewhere (- 0,45 in 8W 17) and the 2nd

floor cleared in 8 W 17 at -0,60 of depth would correspond to the 1st floor cleared in 8W 16-15-14 at -0,45 of average depth - The actual join between the floors in 8W 16-15-14 and 8W 17 is almost impossible to because of the size and number of the pits between 8W17 and 8W 16-15, so that a difference in level within the same floor explains very well why at - 0,60 one finds oneself in 8W 17 on the same floor as elsewhere at - 0,45 - The floor cleared in 8 W 17 at - 0,45 and non-existent elsewhere would have been preserved precisely because at this spot there would have been a sort of slope of the site towards the South and that it lies deeper than elsewhere
