Morricone, necropoleis of Langada and Eleona and settlement site of the Serail. In the basement, remaining material, not reassembled or fragmentary, and plaster impressions of the cylinders and scarabs. In the afternoon, visit to the annex store in the Casa Romana, for the sherds from the Condis soundings of 1959. Thursday 19 October 1967: re-examination of the problems posed by these soundings of 59, in company with Mr Nicolaïdis (photos taken), then at the Museum one can admire the sword (t. 21) and the cylinders including one in lapis lazuli. Departure from Cos at noon, arrival in Athens in the rain. Friday 20 = Athens - Beirut - Saturday 21 = Beirut - Nicosia - Enkomi
