Friday 3 November 1967Still a few drops of rain at 6h in the morning and an area rather muddy in the hollows and trench bottoms - In sector 19 E, we bring to light a yellow floor in direct connection with a foundation of rubble wall aligned E-W at one metre fifty north of the well of the paved complex in ashlar. - Uncovering of the first floor and of numerous pits in sectors 101 to 116 - This first floor is frequently white granular and appears to correspond to floor III of the Iron I of the general stratigraphic scheme of the site. At 10h 30 a heavy storm which interrupts the excavations for the day. Miscellaneous work at the camp: drawings, photo and classification of pottery.
