sangliersFriday 24 November 1967Weather cool, but less cold. The excavations continue in the same sectors as the day before, quarters 4 E and 5 E. - The stripping of the skeletons of carnivores in sector 210 E (D. Marli) continues. A second was uncovered, then progressively a third animal skeleton both smaller than the first: the smaller the skeletons are the more the task of clearing proves delicate. A large frit bead or glass paste is uncovered, then a engraved ivory disc, immediately south-west of the group of skeletons, which rest on a white surface the largest, the smallest to the north-west, [illegible] appearing the most accompanied by carbonised remains and on a fairly calcined surface.
